What one understands by interpretation
Interpretation is the verbal form of translation.
Only by great experience and extensive expertises can be guaranteed, that the spoken will be transferred without meaning loss into another language. There are two different forms of interpretation.
Simultaneous interpretation:
This form of interpretation is less time-luxurious than the consecutive interpretation and, therefore, is used with pleasure in conferences or congresses. On this occasion the interpreter hears the speaker over earphones and transfers the said almost at the same time into the target language. The conference or congress members hear the interpreter again over earphone.
Consecutive interpretation:
This means, that it is interpreted time-moved. The speaker speaks for a shorter period and the interpreter transfers this into the target language. On this occasion, it does not concern a contents reproduction, but a tightened and well structured aim-linguistic version.

Send us if possible no PDF documents, but Word documents. Thereby we can calculate the text extent for the offer substantially more exactly and faster. Unfortunately, software for the counting of PDF documents is not reliable 100% at the moment. Also for the translators PDF documents are impractical, because they must provide the translation into a new file, and, besides, need, in addition, time for layout etc. Nowadays most translators work with so-called Translation Memory Systems which simplify uniformity of the concepts in the translation and also between translations. Thereby the costs of a translation sink. The export of PDF documents into TMS is not always trouble-free, in contrast to Word documents. An exact comparison is necessary, which costs time and again money.
